Part of a series of hiking guides for the Appalachian Trail. These guides are broken down by sections to make it easier for you to plan your Appalachian Trail adventure. No big books to carry, no big bulky maps to unfold & fold.
This is one of the most popular sections of the Appalachian Trail in Maryland. This 8.6 mile section of the AT features Annapolis Rock, probably one of the most visited spots along the AT in Maryland, with its spectacular westward views. This section also features the fine views from Black Rock Cliffs as well as the Pine Knob Shelter. The guide has a description and map of this stretch of the AT.
